Important Reminders
- Do not set up any chairs, tape off any areas, move any tables, or reserve any locations for the Independence Day Celebration before 7:00 AM on Saturday, June 27.
- Propane grills are prohibited on Clubhouse Point and the Beach.
- Drones are prohibited from flying over crowds during all events on June 27.
Road Closures

Yorktown Boulevard & Lakeview Parkway closed for the parade.
Lakeview Parkway from the Main Gate intersection to the Clubhouse closed for the parade.

Lake of the Woods Way closed for the parade.

Yorktown Boulevard & Lakeview Parkway closed for fireworks traffic control.
Main Gate traffic to Lakeview Parkway restricted to left turns only.
Festival & Vendors
LOW will celebrate Independence Day on Saturday, June 27. After the LOW Independence Parade in the morning, we will again be hosting vendors and fun activities for all at Clubhouse Point followed by fireworks in the evening!

Inclement Weather Policy for Independence Celebration -
We are mindful of the weather going into Saturday’s Independence Day Celebration. The General Manager will make weather decisions in real time and may opt to suspend rather than cancel or postpone activities.
Pools: The Pools will operate on regular hours and follow our regular inclement weather policy.
Independence Day Parade: For the safety of parade participants, volunteers, and spectators, the Independence Day Parade will not be held during active rain or hazardous weather conditions. Weather will be monitored closely, and a decision to proceed or cancel will be made no later than 6:00 AM on Saturday. NO Rain Date: Not Rescheduled
Car Display: The Car Display will not be held during active rain or hazardous weather conditions. NO Rain Date: TBD
Lake of the Woods Ski Show: For the safety of the skiers, boat operators, volunteers, and spectators, the Water Ski Show will not be conducted during active rain, lightning, or other hazardous weather conditions. Rain Date: TBD
Activities on the Point: Activities on the Point (12–4 PM) are planned to proceed rain or shine. However, for the safety of participants, vendors, volunteers, and attendees, activities may be delayed or rescheduled in the event of active heavy rain, lightning, thunder, or other hazardous weather conditions. Rain Date: TBD
Clubhouse Deck Buffet (Reservation Only): The buffet will be held Rain or shine. Indoor dining will be utilised if inclement weather.
Fireworks: The Fireworks will continue rain or shine on June 27, except for inclement weather such as heavy rain, thunder and lightning. A final decision about cancellation or postponement will be made by 9 PM. Rain Date: Sunday, June 28.
