Lessons and Social Clubs

Pickleball and tennis activities are coordinated by the Pickleball/Tennis Committee (P/Tec).
Many of the Lake of the Woods (LOW) players are members of USA Pickleball  and/or members of the U. S. Tennis Association (USTA).

The LOW Pickleball Club (LOWPBC) offers free pickleball lessons indoors most Thursdays and one Saturday a month (seasonally) in the Marion Pronk Hall at the Community Center.  All equipment is provided. Please bring a pair of non-marking court/athletic shoes to switch to once you enter the building to play on the courts. Benches are provided with room to store your outdoor shoes while you are in the building. Running shoes are not recommended on the indoor court. The LOWPBC has a Social Committee which arranges many fun activities throughout the year, including an annual picnic at the Hollyfield Park Pavilion.

To find out more information about classes or the club, CLICK HERE to visit The LOW Pickleball Club (LOWPBC) Listing on the club listing page. Brochures offering information about the club may also be picked up at the Community Center.

Rules and procedures for tennis play are posted at the outdoor courts. Tennis socials are held in June, July and August. Socials are published in the Lake Currents.
