Patrick Henry Court Drainage Project Update 3/25/26:
Hollyfield Park Parking Lot Resurfacing Update: Crews continue with material preparation and work on the Hollyfield Park parking lot. The resurfacing material has specific temperature requirements, and colder conditions this week may impact progress and timing.
Weather permitting—including both temperatures and rain—the project is anticipated to be completed no later than March 27.
During construction, access to the parking lot may be impacted. Work will continue in sections—while one area is closed, another will remain open and available for parking.
Steady Construction Final Steps of the Patrick Henry Court Drainage Project:
- Crews have completed demobilization of construction equipment.
- Erosion and sediment control fencing must remain in place until new grass is fully established.
- Final site cleanup will be completed by the contractor once the fencing is permitted to be removed.
IMPORTANT REMINDER:
Erosion and sediment control fencing is a critical part of the project and is required to remain in place throughout all project zones until stabilization is complete.
This fencing helps prevent erosion, protects newly seeded areas, and ensures the site meets environmental and regulatory requirements.
Please do not remove, move, or tamper with the fencing along property lines or in common areas. Doing so can compromise the work, create setbacks, and delay the overall completion of the project.
Final Steps: Scheduling in Spring, APRIL 2026 (weather permitting):
- Paving on Yorktown Blvd., and tar-and-chip work on Patrick Henry Court will be completed in the Spring due to temperature requirements.
