Progress Update: Patrick Henry Court Drainage Improvement Project
- Construction has begun for the project
- RSA (work performed by JP Tucker) has relocated the sewer vacuum line in the location of the plunge pool on Yorktown Blvd.
- Next two weeks, contractor (Steady Construction) digs 20 test pits along the pipe routing, to deconflict with existing utilities. Each test pit will remain unfilled, until the new drainage is installed.
- Each location will have a silt fence installed to protect the excavation.
- General construction begins once Orange County approves the Land Disturbance Permit submitted by the contractor.
Projected completion by spring of 2025
Steady Construction (the project contractor) has begun staging equipment in a designated area of Hollyfield Park to start the improvement project.
Early next week:
They will begin digging test pits in the Hollyfield Park area.
The contractor digs test pits along the pipe routing to verify the location of existing utilities that conflict with the piping path shown on the construction documents.
They will leave each test pit unfilled until the
new drainage is installed
and will install a silt fence at each location
to protect the excavation.
After completing the work at Hollyfield Park, the contractor will move the test pit work to Patrick Henry Court. |
