Request for Proposals Pool Management Services
Lake of the Woods Outdoor Pools – Summers of 2025, 2026 and 2027 with the option to extend the contract for up to two additional seasons in one year increments

Proposal Due Date: October 24, 2024 at 2p.m. Local Time
Lake of the Woods Association, Inc., a large-scale community association of 4,260 private home lots and over 9,000 residents in Locust Grove, Virginia, seeks the services of a qualified pool management services company with knowledge, skills and at least five years of experience to operate and manage the two outdoor pools for our community association during the Summers of 2025, 2026 and 2027. Prospective firms must submit their proposals no later than 2 p.m. local time on October 24, 2024, to the General Manager’s Office, 102 Lakeview Parkway, Locust Grove, Virginia 22508.
Requirements
The successful firm will present a written proposal that is responsive to the Statement of Work (SOW) attached to this RFP. Selection will be based on best value for LOWA, a combination of price, value, and relevant experience. (See

LOWA members and guests must follow LOWA Regulation XII, Use of the Swimming Pools. The successful firm must ensure its employees are familiar with these rules and that its personnel will enforce them with the highest level of customer service. (

Successful firm must indicate willingness to sign the LOWA Contract Addendum (
See Attachment #3: Contract Addendum) and to provide Certificate of Insurance with LOWA shown as additional insured, and a waiver of subrogation.
By submitting its proposal, the successful firm acknowledges that this RFP and its proposal may become part of any contract entered between LOWA and the firm.
