Week in Review for 11-5-18
This week started out wet, and rainy. We spent much of the week pumping water, and drying out the footings so that the mason could start laying block on Thursday. The cleaning of the footings took a lot longer then expected due to the sides of the trenches collapsing from the rain soaked soil. The trenches have now been cleaned and are ready for Ramsey to begin next Monday. Pinning of the new building brick points were placed on Thursday. These point will be used by the mason when block laying begins next week.
Olympia Pools began their week in the same way with pumping water off the site both Monday, and Tuesday. After doing so, they were back to placing the under slab plumbing on Wednesday. This task continued through the remainder of the week.
The site contractor began the placement of the new sanitary tie in to the existing structure on Wednesday. This tie in was completed, and inspected by Rapidan on Thursday. The new 6 inch sanitary line was routed, and stopped 5 feet outside the foot print of the new building. Kelvic began the routing, and placement of the new water service line to the new building on Friday, and will complete this install on Monday. This line will also stop 5 feet outside the foot print of the new building. From there the plumber will make his tie in when completing the facility under slab rough in.
