Project Update June 7, 2019

LOW 06-03-2019 Week in Review
 
As the project edges closer to completion contractors are finishing up remaining trim out on the interior of the new facility. Most of the work on the interior has been completed, and final cleaning of the facility is scheduled for the beginning of next week. Remaining trade Finals will be taken care of before next week’s end.  As I’m sure everyone has seen there still is a fair amount of work left to be done on the exterior, regarding placement of landscaping, final grading of site, placement of remaining sidewalks, and stairs, Pool fencing, Basketball fencing, and lastly the placement of remaining asphalt walking trail, parking lot, and  Clubhouse ADA access area. It will be a mad dash to the finish line, but all contractors are on board to insure everything gets done. Now on to the Week in Review. This week’s activities consisted of the following tasks,
 
SITE WORK
 Stanley Brothers continued site grading the area where the Construction Entrance used to be. Grading for the placement of new stairs was completed on Friday. Stanley Brothers finished up the week with the grading and placement of stone at the new RSA parking area in front of the existing Pump Station.
  R.J. Biringer’s sub Liquid continued placement of site sidewalks, and remaining curbs. On Saturday forming for the placement of new stairs began. The forming of stairs will be completed on Monday.
  Tommy Wallace Electrical finished up placement of remaining site electrical , and the placement of the 2 fiberglass security poles.
  Wack GC took care of washing down the new parking lot in preparation of placement of asphalt topping next Tuesday.
  Parking Lines took care of placement of signage prior to asphalt placement.
 
EXTERIOR FACILITY WORK
  M.L.Straight Painting continued finishing up remaining painting of the siding, and trim.
 
INTERIOR FACILITY WORK
  M.L. Straight finished up some last minute painting touch ups of walls, and sheetrock ceilings
 
POOL WORK
  Olympia Pools continued placement of remaining pool operational equipment, placement of the pools plaster finish coat on Tuesday, and Wednesday. Pool filling began Wednesday afternoon, and finished early Thursday morning. Olympia finished out the week with final cleaning of the pool which consisted of vacuuming, and brushing of the interior walls, and floor.

Week in Preview For 06-10-2019
 
SITE WORK
  Stanley Brothers will complete grading of site after remaining sidewalk, and stair have been placed.
  Liquid will complete placement of remaining sidewalk, and stair. Clean up, and demobilize.
  Down To Earth will begin placement of new vegetation, and trees.
  Rustin Paving will complete placement of asphalt walking trail, parking lot, and Clubhouse ADA access.
  Parking Lines will complete painting of new parking lot.
 
EXTERIOR WORK
  Wack GC will focus on final cleaning of concrete walkways.
  Long Fence will complete install of Breezeway fencing.
 M.L. Straight Painting will complete remaining touch up on siding, and trim.
 
INTERIOR WORK
  Costen Flooring will complete the sanding, and finishing of wood flooring in the Fitness Room
  Tommy Wallace Electrical will complete the install of remaining ADA Automatic Door Devices
  Architectural Outfitters will complete trim out of Fitness Room once wood floor finish has dried.
  Perfect LG will complete final cleaning.
  Remaining Building Finals scheduled for Wednesday.
 
POOL WORK
  Long Fence will complete install of remaining fencing.
  Olympia Pools will complete final cleaning, and set up of the pool before turn over to LOW.
 
Sounds to be expected will be the same has previous weeks with site equipment backup alarms being heard, as with equipment moving back and forth across the site.
 
Traffic to be expected in the area will a little heavy on Tuesday regarding the paving of remaining areas. Access to the Walking Trail will be needed to complete the placement of new asphalt. Rustin will also be topping the existing Basketball Court which was a last minute change. They will access the court as before by way of the walking trail. Lastly asphalt trucks will be frequent around the clubhouse are until all paving has been completed. Tuesday, and Wednesday are the days set up for this work to be done. Flagging will be present so the LOW Community is inconvenienced as little as possible. Patients while this work is being completed would be greatly appreciated.
