Treats on the Point is getting a fresh new look this year! We're excited to introduce our Trunk or Treat — a fun new way to bring neighbors together for an evening of costumes, candy and Halloween fun!

Decorated trunks will fill the lot as our trick-or-treaters wander from car to car, collecting treats and admiring the creative displays. And yes, there will be prizes for our trunk decorators!

Final Participant Reminders

Bring all the decorations, treats, and supplies your trunk needs.
Battery-operated lighting is encouraged. Open flames are not permitted.
Keep your decorations within your designated space and leave pedestrian pathways clear.
Have someone on hand to hand out treats throughout the event.
Children and families will begin visiting trunks at 6:00 PM, so please be ready to go.
Help us keep the event area clean by collecting your trash before you leave.

Want to decorate a trunk?

Ready to turn your trunk into a spooktacular showpiece? Every participating vehicle must register in advance to claim an assigned parking space. Sign up using the form below or click HERE.

Mark your calendar, because the date has changed! This year's event takes place on Friday, October 30, 2026, not on Halloween night. Save the date, register your trunk, and start dreaming up your most devilish design.

All vehicles must be parked and in place by 6:00 PM. To keep everyone safe, vehicles must stay put throughout the event and may leave only after LOWA staff give the go-ahead once the event has ended.

Awards will be up for grabs in four categories:

Best Overall Trunk
Spookiest Trunk
Most Creative Trunk
Kids' Choice Award

First, second, and third place will be awarded in every category except Best Overall.

Each trunk will receive a numbered voting sign with a QR code. Display your sign proudly so families can easily scan and vote for their favorites.

Voting closes at 7:30 PM, and winners will be announced shortly before the event wraps up. May the spookiest trunk win!

Trunk or Treat Registration Form

Residents, families, clubs, committees, and community groups are invited to register a vehicle and join the fun. Participating trunk decorators will receive an assigned parking space and have 5 to 6 PM to set up and bring their Halloween vision to life before trick-or-treating begins.

Whether your trunk is spooky, silly, creative, or completely over-the-top, bring your best ideas—because there are bragging rights on the line! Trunks will compete for Best Overall, Spookiest Trunk, Most Creative, and Kids' Choice. Voting will take place throughout the evening and close at 7:30 PM, with winners announced just before the event concludes at 8 PM.

All participating trunks must be pre-registered, and spaces are limited. Trunk hosts should plan to provide their own decorations and individually wrapped treats to distribute during the event.

6:00 PM: Trunk or Treat officially begins!
7:30 PM: Decorating contest voting closes
Approximately 7:50 PM: Contest winners announced
8:00 PM: Event concludes
