UPDATE February 7, 2025

• The Contractor (BZ Excavating) completed the remediation plan for subsurface findings on 1/30 for the relocated member lane.
• Winter weather on 2/5 and 2/6 delayed the main gate project schedule during the week of 2/3.
• BZ Excavating requires at least two consecutive days of clear weather to dry out and compact the roadway surface before the asphalt contractor can apply the base coat.
• LOWA is using a geotechnical engineer to confirm the proper compaction for the relocated member lane before the asphalt basecoat work is done.
• Boring for electrical wiring of relocated member lane island and guard shack will be scheduled to begin in the next two weeks, weather permitting. Start date contingent on receipt of final wiring plan from Entry Guard (vendor) to the contractor (BZ Excavating).
